Chrome extension for Etsy sellers

Know what an Etsy sale really pays you.

Etsy shows you the sale price. This shows what lands in your pocket after every 2026 fee, including the one no other calculator counts: the fee Etsy takes on the tariff charge itself.

“Etsy applies their 15% fee to the tariff charge. No calculators I’ve used have shown this.”
a seller, r/EtsySellers, June 2026

Free extension — live in the Chrome Web Store.

Set the tariff rate to 0 and compare. That gap is what DDP costs you in fees alone.

The tariff charge is money you collect from the buyer and pass to customs. You never keep it. Etsy’s fee on it is a real cost with no matching revenue.

Since July 9, 2026 Etsy asks sellers outside the US to ship American orders with duties prepaid (DDP) and to bake the tariff into the item price. Etsy’s fees apply to that price. So on tariff money you collect only to hand over, you also pay Etsy’s fee.

There are ten fee calculators in the Chrome store. Not one of them shows this line. This one does.

What it counts

On a $30 tariff at 30%, that is $4.50 gone before your margin even starts. Every other calculator stops at the transaction fee and calls it a day. That is why sellers see a 30% all-in take and cannot explain it.

  • Transaction fee, 6.5% 6.5% of the item price plus shipping.
  • Payment processing 3% + $0.25 3% plus $0.25 for US shops. Other countries differ.
  • Listing fee $0.20 $0.20 per item sold.
  • Offsite Ads fee 15% / 12% 15% when the order comes from Etsy’s offsite ads, 12% for shops over $10k in the last 12 months.
  • The DDP tariff charge DDP you remit for American orders, backed into the price.
  • The 15% Etsy fee on that tariff charge. 15% The line nobody else shows.

Rates from Etsy’s published fee policy and help pages as of August 2026. The tariff fee line is the rate sellers report in the community. Always sanity-check against your own Etsy statement.
